New Hartford Elementary Students Create Community Mural

 This project was so fulfilling to complete. For the district art show, my colleague Holly Parker, Elementary Art school teacher, taped out the boards and I assisted kids to paint warm colors on top, cool at bottom. Some mishaps here and there, but nothing a few more coats of paints couldn’t remedy. When the tape comes off you have a clean defined edge outlining the painterly patches of color.
